Professor Georges Delpierre has been involved with instructional computing since 1980. Initially trained as an Organic Chemist, he holds doctorates from the universities of Cape Town and Cambridge. He taught Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Cape Town, Yale University and the University of the Western Cape.   Professor Trevor Sewell is Director of the Electron Microscope Unit at the University of Cape Town. He studied at the University of the Witwatersrand and Birkbeck College, University of London, where he obtained a Ph.D. degree. His research interests are in the field of Structural Biology. He has been involved in the use of computers in education since 1985.
